Arterial occlusive disease

Arterial occlusive disease is a narrowing or occlusion of arteries.
In the legs, this can be manifested by pain when walking, especially in the calves (shop window disease).
Severe changes in the carotid arteries can lead to strokes.
The diagnosis is initially made by duplex sonography, the further procedure is determined individually.
