Spider veins varicose
Spider veins are small dilated skin veins and are usually an aesthetic problem. The therapy is usually performed by sclerotherapy and is not covered by the statutory health insurance.
The spider veins are small non-functional veins (very small varices < 1 mm caliber) by the sclerotherapy the spider veins are switched off or shut down and from this point on the blood flows through the branches in the healthy veins, which are or were interconnected with the above mentioned spider veins.
An alternative to sclerotherapy of spider veins is therapy with ND:Yag_Laser. This laser therapy is especially suitable for very fine veins.
